GBP研修のプレゼン資料を書いています。絵が多い方が良いと思い、ほぼ絵だけです。自分のグループは３名で、自分は最初のパートをしゃべります。

We are very pleased to explain about the merits of iPS cells in twelve minutes.

■Agenda
This is a brief outline of out presentation. First, objective; second, problem; third, merits; finally, summary.

■Objective
First of all, let met talk about the objective. You know.

Two pioneers of stem cell research have won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Japan's Shinya Yamanaka shares the honor with Britain's John B. Gurdon. Both discovered mature, specialized cells can eventually develop into all of the tissues that make up the body.

Yamanaka is 50 years old. He's a professor at Kyoto University. He established the method to produce a new type of cells called induced pluripotent stem cells, or iPS cells. They are capable of becoming specialized cells, which can be used to create tissues such as neurons and heart muscle.

■Problems
Before the merits.

One is the ethics isssue. Perhaps, we will be able to make human beings. I think the problem similar to cloning of human beings.

Two is the protection of personal data. The DNA in cells are most important personal data. If you have your data stolen, the particular kind of poison effective for only you may be developed.

Three is the abuse of the technology. For example, a fatuous publicity stunt, organ trafficking and so on.

So, next topic is the merits. YYYYY explains that.
